REMA Membership is available to all companies and organizations that supply, generate, purchase, sell, advocate or promote renewable energy.

Sustaining Members

The Sustaining Member class is for leading organizations involved in renewable energy markets. Sustaining Members can include green power and REC marketers, utilities, equipment manufacturers, renewable energy project developers, environmental and energy brokerages, and others greatly invested in renewable energy markets.

Sustaining Members, Temporary

Same as "Sustaining Member" above, but duration is six months only

Supporting Members

The Supporting Member class is for organizations who find the market for renewable energy to be an important part of their business. Supporting Members should be actively involved or planning to be involved in the voluntary market.

Supporting Members, Temporary

Same as "Supporting Member" above, but duration is six months only.

Brokerage Firms

This membership category includes organizations who are solely engaged in transaction assistance and market information for the buying and selling of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) or other environmental commodities. Members eligible for this class cannot sell, intend to sell, purchase or generate renewable energy.

Consumer Members

The Consumer Member class includes consumers and potential consumers of renewable energy and Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). Members eligible for this class cannot sell or intend to sell any purchased or generated renewable energy to third-parties.
